SEAN “THE SHAMAN” LEWIS IS AN AUDIENCE CAPTIVATING, STORYTELLING DJ & MC FROM TACOMA, WASHINGTON. CONTROLLING THE CROWD WITH FLUIDITY, poignant musical selections, AND LYRICAL DEXTERITY. SEAN’S LIVE PERFORMANCE IS AN INFECTIOUS EXPERIENCE, PAYING HOMAGE TO ALL THINGS DOPE.
Growing up in Spanaway, Washington, Sean has had an up close and personal view of the effects of homelessness and local poverty. From being raised in a world where at times his family couldn’t afford their home nor their vehicle, to serving as a medic in the US ARMY, and eventually becoming a program coordinator at Associated Ministries in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma – Sean has been on all sides of the poverty paradigm. Throughout it all, Sean has discovered that creating music is the best outlet for his expression and equally so, healing through his trauma.
INSPIRED BY ACTS SUCH AS Sublime, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, OUTKAST, 311, AND MOS DEF; THE SHAMAN IS MAKING HIS MARK CONSISTENTLY AS HE DELIVERS HIS GENRE BLENDING MUSICAL STYLE WITH THE EASE OF A TRUE SHOWMAN.
AFTER YEARS OF NOTABLE FEATURE COLLABORATIONS INCLUDING, “STEPPIN RAZOR” ALONGSIDE ETHAN TUCKER, A SONG OFF OF THE HOUSE THAT BRADLEY BUILT DELUXE EP THAT DEBUTED #1 ON BILLBOARD’S ALBUM CHARTS IN JANUARY OF 2021, SEAN has Officially began to step OUT ON HIS OWN AS A MUSICAL ARTIST.

AS A FORMER SOCIAL WORKER HE USED MODERN PSYCH METHODS TO HELP HEAL THE MIND. NOW, AS SEAN THE SHAMAN, HE CHOOSES TO STEP BACK AND ALLOW THE MUSIC TO ORCHESTRATE AS A TRANSMUTABLE SOURCE OF HEALING FOR AUDIENCES ACROSS THE WORLD.
The son of a radio dj and the grandson of a television voiceover artist; it’s no surprise that sean the shaman has a signature sound and cadence to his voice. HAVING PLAYED LIT UP STADIUMS, GROOVY NIGHTCLUBS, AND DIMLY LADEN DIVE BARS, SEAN IS A VETERAN AT CURATING THE VIBE OF THE MOMENT IN FRONT OF HIM; BRINGING THOSE WITHIN EARSHOT INTO A COLLECTIVE HARMONY.
